I can't take the credit for the design of this unusual and striking 2 a's entwined engagement ring. This was the idea of a graphic designer who wanted to propose to his girlfriend with a deeply personal ring. He understandably had a keen eye for design and a very clear vision and came to me with a fully prepared computer drawing, so I just needed to work out how to make his dream ring a reality. The idea was to have a lower case 'a' in 18ct white gold and a lower case 'a'  in 18ct rose gold intertwined to represent the couples initials - how romantic! We added 2 pear shaped diamonds and some small round diamonds at the front. It was a tricky little project to make and I produced several samples in silver first until the shape was just right. The result was a truly unique ring with a secret as the 'a' can only be seen when viewed at a certain angle.
