The brief for this commission stated that the pendant should be very simple and bold to suit a more statuesque lady. It also needed to hold a piece of coral for a coral anniversary. I produced several pencil sketches for the client and he chose this design with the coral held by a gentle wave of silver and the teardrop forming a classic bold outline.
