I just love this beautiful butterfly statement ring. The customer wanted to create a special anniversary gift for his wife. He had seen a ring with a butterfly online, but could see it was very flimsy and badly made. He came to me with his idea knowing that I could make something more substantial that would last a lifetime. I produced my own designs for him based on the brief and gave him sketch drawings to choose from. Then I produced a CAD image to give a more realistic image of the ring. Finally I made the ring in 18ct yellow gold with a lovely heavy weight shank, flush set tiny diamonds in the wings of the larger butterfly and also down one shoulder to make it extra special. The customer was absolutely blown away. I would love to make something like this for myself.
