Jonathan's white gold custom rainbow motif wedding ring was designed to incorporate elements that are special to him and his bride. He proposed with one of my Sunrise rings, which is an important theme to them both and wanted wedding rings that are equally meaningful. The couple don't live nearby, so I had a few online chats with them, discussing design elements and showing examples. We decided that a ring around 5mm wide would suit his hand the best. I created an organic shaped beaten Gent's wedding ring in 9ct white gold for the groom. I then showed him various sketches based on his rainbow idea. He picked out this naive rainbow design, which was then engraved onto the wedding band. To make it extra special I added 5 little dots, 2 on one side of a rainbow and 3 on the other. This signified the couples children coming together into a melded family.
