Petrina had been gifted some sapphire jewellery years ago which had sentimental value, but she didn't wear it anymore. She also inherited some gold rings and wanted to combine these into something that she could treasure. I used some of the gold to remodel her wedding ring into a chunky band that can be worn for years to come and the rest was alloyed into 18ct gold to form this stunning cluster ring set with one of her dark sapphires and the diamonds from her earrings. It's amazing how the stones take on a different life when put into a different setting. Her family approved of the glow up and now this beauty can be handed down for another generation to love.
