Rachel's Floating Ruby and Diamond Recycled Ring is a special piece of sentimental jewellery. She had 2 rings that had been gifted to her over the years, but were no longer her style and she wished to consolidate these into one statement ring that she could wear and enjoy. We agreed on a classic 3 band floating gemstone ring and I then sketched out a design for her, incorporating as many of her stones as possible, to explore the best positioning for them. After putting the gemstones aside, the gold from her original pieces was melted down and re-formed into this ring, ensuring it had a substantial, but comfortable feel, so that it could be worn for many years to come. The gemstones were re-set into their new bezels and just seemed to come to life with a fresh design that really showed off their colour and beauty. The last two pictures show the original rings - what a difference! A meaningful and sustainable choice.
