Cathy's Welsh Lovespoon platinum and diamond engagement ring was inspired by her fiance's heritage. They both now live in America, but wanted to give a romantic nod to his upbringing in North Wales. They also wanted to include some of Cathy's history, using a diamond from her family jewellery to be the star of the piece.

Together we looked at original Welsh lovespoons and formulated an intricate cut out pattern to adorn the shoulders and sides. The unusual design also has a large square head, highlighting the stunning princess cut diamond in the centre. A halo of tiny diamonds gives it some extra sparkle. A heart made from rare Welsh gold adds a touch of colour and makes it a truly one-of-a-kind piece, perfectly symbolizing love and commitment.
